My favourite historical building is Cheddleton Flint Mill which is very much part of the fabric of the industry revolution, being a water driven mill that ground flint for the nearby Pottery Industry.

Their is two churches St. Edward’s (Anglian) and St. ANDREW”S (Methodist).
St. Edwards Park has limited amenities but has easy access to a restaurant located alongside the Cauldon Canal.
The village has a Church of England Primary School for children starting life’s journey into education.
Leek RUFC have their ground at St. Edwards Park and Ashcombe Park Cricket Club is on the edge of the traditional village.
